Will it go on the deck — legally?

Most transporters answer this with “send me the dimensions and I’ll check with the driver”, and you lose half a day. Answer it yourself, now.

The method

How we worked it out.

Published, because a tool that will not show its working is asking to be trusted for no reason. Five checks run against every load:

Payload: Total mass against the truck's rated 8 000 kg. Rated means rated — we do not run over it, which is the first of our red lines.
Deck length: Anything longer than the 6.8 m deck projects, and projection is not automatically a refusal — it is a securing and flagging decision.
Rear overhang: Overhang may not exceed 60% of the wheelbase. Past that it is an abnormal load and it needs a permit and a different vehicle.
Width: 2.6 m is the legal maximum overall. A load wider than the deck but inside that limit is workable; wider than that is abnormal-load territory.
Overall height: Cargo height plus the 1.3 m deck height, against the 4.3 m legal maximum. Bridges and gantries decide this, not us.

What this tool is not. It is a first-pass check, not a permit decision and not a quote. We confirm every load against the actual deck before booking it, and if it does not fit we would rather point you at someone who can carry it than leave you guessing.
