The River Trust Score

PLANNED

Trust, made measurable.

Every transporter says they are reliable. None of them can prove it to a stranger. The Trust Score is how that changes — a rating built from what actually happened on real loads, with the reasoning shown.

Nobody has been scored yet. This page publishes the framework before the network exists, so a transporter can see exactly what they will be measured on before it measures them. That order matters.

What will be measured

The factors, and what each one means.

Gate means it is not scored at all — you either meet it or you are not on the network. Compliance should never be something a transporter can trade away for points elsewhere.

Principles

Commitments, not features.

Explainable, never a black box

A transporter will always be able to see which factors moved their score and what would raise it. A score you cannot interrogate is a score you cannot trust — or improve.

Published before it is applied

The criteria are on this page before a single partner has been scored. Nobody will be measured against a standard they were shown afterwards.

Compliance is a gate, not a score

Insurance and licensing do not earn points. They are the entry condition. An expired document suspends a listing rather than quietly lowering a number.

Small operators are not penalised for being small

The score measures how a transporter performs, not how many trucks they own. A one-truck operator running perfectly should outrank a fleet running badly — that is the entire point.

River Express is scored on the same basis

Our own truck will appear on the network under the same criteria as every partner. A standard we would not accept for ourselves is not a standard.
